In 2001, a little strange markings began to appear on the roads of Montreal periodically. Later it turned out that this was a kind of attempt to call for careful driving by the artist Peter Gibson (Peter Gibson) and in order to draw attention to the infringement of the interests of cyclists and pedestrians, the action eventually led the author to a fine and seven days of community service.
Gibson got a lot of followers and now the most unusual road markings flaunt in all corners of the world.
Who knows, maybe some ideas will be reflected in the following traffic rules changes.
