The political situation introduces unnecessary complications in the movement of citizens from Russia to Ukraine and vice versa. For example, Russians will need a passport to travel to their neighbors in embroidered shirts, and men between the ages of 16 and 60 will not be allowed to enter. But if you want to spend time pleasantly and cheaply in a women's company or relax with children, Ukraine is a good option, attractive at relatively low prices plus a wide range of opportunities.
In Ukraine, the old Soviet sanatoriums and rest homes are still preserved, the private sector is widely developed, and representatives of a world-famous hotel chain have recently appeared. And in total in Ukraine there are already as many as 14 beaches that have been awarded the Blue Flag - completely safe and very comfortable. We will talk about the best of them in the current rating of Ukrainian beaches in 2019.
10. “Peschanka”, the village of Peschany, Mariupol
Mariupol Municipal Beach is a novice among the holders of the highest mark of honor, which can only be awarded to the beach ("Blue Flag"). Such a reward is not only an indicator of the purest sand and clear water, it is also a sign that the beach has all the amenities necessary for vacationers. Sand is cleaned and sifted every day, garbage is removed, and special people monitor the water quality.
There is also a rescue tower on the beach with which specially trained personnel vigilantly looks around the surroundings. And vacationers do not come to the beach with their rugs, but can take off both sunbeds and parasols at an affordable price.
9. Galerny, Kiev
Surprisingly, Kiev, a giant metropolis with almost three million people, not counting a large number of tourists, is at the same time the proud owner of several Blue Flag beaches. Kievans can only be envied, because after work they can stretch out on the clean sand, and then plunge into the blue waters of the Dnieper.
And one of the best places to relax in Ukraine is Galerny beach. Although it is located directly in the city, namely in the Goloseevsky district, it is a quiet, peaceful place, which is perfect for those who want to relax and relax the townspeople.
And if you think that a beach holiday in the capital of Ukraine can be combined with sightseeing (and there are a lot of them in the “mother of Russian cities” over more than a thousand years of existence), you just want to rush there right now. Or at least in the summer.
8. "Youth", Kiev
This beach fully meets its name. It has long been chosen by young residents of Kiev for joint bathing and beach holidays. Fortunately, the entrance to the beach is absolutely free. Although the “youth” infrastructure, frankly, leaves much to be desired, the energy of youth and fun reigning around makes us forget about minor flaws.
This beach is considered to be a place of acquaintance in Kiev, so if you have not found your other half, you might want to look there. Alas, the popularity of the place turns into an abundance of garbage traditional for a large crowd of people. However, it is quickly cleaned.
7. "Children's", Kiev
If "Youth" is focused on the young generation, then "Children", fully meeting its name, is aimed at families with children. Moreover, persons without children are not admitted!
"Detsky" is rightfully considered one of the cleanest Ukrainian beaches, and the team of rescuers monitors the safety of small vacationers. The entrance to the water is shallow, the shallow water stretches for a long time, so that even babies can safely splash around at their pleasure. And when a child in lifeguards and a circle is basking in the water, parents can easily read in the shade of an umbrella. Both that, and another and the third on the beach can be rented.
6. Golden, Kiev
The main feature of the beach is calmness and silence, as if there is no nearby multi-million, never-silent megalopolis. The reason lies in the good location of the beach, to reach which for a long time; first take the subway, then walk for a long time to the Bridge bridge, and then take a one and a half kilometer journey up to the bridge.
"Golden" is perfect for hermits in the soul who like to bask in warm water, enjoying the silence and loneliness reigning around. According to tourists, the places there are extremely beautiful.
5. "Summer resident", the village of Gribovka, Odessa region
Like Zolotoy, Dachnik is located away from the bustle of the city. This beach is well equipped, there are even showers, which is still a rarity in the post-Soviet space. Not to mention umbrellas, awnings and deck chairs.
Odessa region is the leader in the number of Blue Flags per unit of territory. Residents of the region are so reverent about their status as owners of the best beaches in Ukraine that some even manually sift sand on the border between land and sea! And their efforts are paid off when tourists knock on the “blue-flagged” beaches.
4. Caleton, Odessa
A beach with a foreign name is located on French Boulevard, not just on the street itself, but on a slope overlooking the sea next to it. It seems that the beach inherited from France not only the name, but also a truly Mediterranean spirit. In terms of comfort and level of infrastructure, it stands out from the other best beaches in Ukraine in 2019.
There are quite enough deck chairs for all vacationers (there are three hundred of them), and if you want more comfort, you can rent a beach bed. And for family holidays, you can put a real big tent, as in Arab legends.
Around the beach, bars and cafes are scattered in abundance, where in addition to traditional Soviet-Ukrainian cuisine, you can taste Asian exotic or enjoy classic Mediterranean cuisine.
3. Black Sea city beach, the city of Chernomorsk, Odessa region
The city beach of Chernomorsk is a veteran in terms of the number of Blue Flags. Since 2011, he is annually awarded this highest honor. In addition to the excellent quality of sand and water, the beach has a well-developed infrastructure. There are even facilities for people with disabilities: part of the beach is equipped with special ramps to make it easier to get to and out of the water.
2. "Langeron", Odessa
A very popular holiday destination for both residents of Odessa and tourists. Entrance to it is completely free (which only contributes to its popularity), but for a sunbed and a canopy from the sun will have to lay out a couple of hryvnias.
There are many restaurants, cafes and bars around the beach, so vacationers will not have to suffer from hunger. And children will certainly be interested in the local dolphinarium, which is considered one of the best in Europe.
And although in the reviews people complain about rather high prices, they note that the Langeron is very comfortable and clean.
1. Black Sea Riviera, the village of Fontanka, Odessa region
The first place in the top 10 of the cleanest and most comfortable beaches in Ukraine is given to the Black Sea Riviera. For all its merits, this beach is also with free access, therefore, despite the fairly large length (195 m) in the summer it is crowded.
Using a deck chair and having plenty of vitamin D in your body, you can grab a bite from a cafe nearby, raise your blood alcohol level in a local bar, and if things get worse, get help at the hospital’s first-aid post.
In addition, you can combine business with pleasure and get a portion of relaxing massage and spa treatments in the beach "relaxation area".
